The Draper 27962 DXPULSE 12V Brushless Impact Driver addresses this directly with a sub-1 kg net weight of 0.9 kg and a compact form factor engineered for overhead and restricted-access tasks. The soft grip handle provides comfort during extended use, reducing operator fatigue across longer work sessions. At the heart of the tool is a brushless motor paired with a durable aluminium gearbox. Brushless motor technology enhances efficiency, delivering more power and longer battery life compared to conventional brushed designs. Three-speed settings give the operator precise control over output, while the variable speed trigger with quick stop adds a further layer of accuracy. Forward and reverse selection and an integrated LED worklight complete the functional specification. No-load speed spans 0–1,200, 0–1,800 and 0–2,700 rpm across the three settings, with corresponding no-load impact rates of 0–1,100, 0–2,100 and 0–3,200 bpm. Maximum torque is 150 Nm and screwing capacity covers M5 to M14 fasteners via the 1/4" square drive. Power comes from the 12V DXPULSE Interchange Series platform, and the kit includes one 5.0 Ah lithium-ion battery with an LED battery level indicator so charge status is always visible. A 4.0 A fast charger is also included. The complete kit is supplied in a sturdy plastic storage case.
