Shell Rimula R4 X 15W-40 in the 20-litre pack is a mineral heavy-duty diesel engine oil for on-highway heavy-duty trucks, agriculture, construction and mining equipment. The Rimula R4 X range is designed to provide Triple Protection to improve engine and oil durability, helping reduce maintenance costs and increase the reliability of vehicles. It is suitable for most heavy-duty diesel engines in both on-highway and off-highway applications.
The product is suitable for most modern low-emission engines meeting Euro 5, 4, 3 and 2 emission requirements, with Triple Protection additive technology designed for acid and corrosion control, low wear in the valve train, piston ring and cylinder liner areas, and low-deposit performance to keep pistons clean over extended drain intervals.
Approvals and performance levels include ACEA E7; API CI-4; Volvo VDS-3; MAN M 3275; Caterpillar ECF-2; Cummins CES 20078; MTU Category 2; Deutz DQC III-10; JASO DH-1; and Renault Trucks RLD-2.
The 20-litre pack format is suited to single-machine top-up and small workshop service. Store sealed in the original packaging, in a clean, dry area away from extremes of temperature, to preserve product performance over its shelf life.
