Q8 Oils Formula M Long Life 5W-40 is a low-SAPS passenger car engine oil for Mercedes-Benz Euro 4 and Euro 5 diesel engines equipped with diesel particulate filters (DPF) and requiring MB-Approval 229.51 or 229.31. The product is also approved for the latest Porsche direct-injection or turbocharged engines used in models including Boxster, Cayman, 911, 911 Turbo and Cayenne, and is recommended for GM Dexos2 applications.
The oil is suitable for passenger cars and light-duty commercial vehicles, with the low-SAPS formulation providing compatibility with after-treatment systems and oil-film strength across varied operating conditions.
