Product Number: EGR-039
The EGR-039 is an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve designed as a direct replacement for compatible 1.8 T 20V turbocharged petrol engines found in Seat and Volkswagen passenger vehicles produced between 1997 and 2010. EGR valves are a critical component of the engine management system, controlling the recirculation of exhaust gases back into the intake manifold to reduce combustion temperatures and limit nitrogen oxide emissions in accordance with vehicle design requirements.
This unit covers six confirmed vehicle applications across two manufacturer lines. Fitment encompasses the Seat Alhambra (7V8, 7V9) 1.8 T 20V with engine codes AJH and AWC, and the Volkswagen Sharan (7M8, 7M9, 7M6) 1.8 T 20V with engine codes AJH and AWC, across the full model span from September/October 1997 through to March 2010. Buyers should confirm their vehicle's engine code before ordering to ensure correct application.
The EGR-039 carries an extensive cross-reference list of 34 OE and aftermarket part numbers, including references from Audi (06A 131 501 E, 06A 131 501 N), SEAT (06A 131 501 E, 06A 131 501 N), VAG (06A 131 501 E, 06A 131 501 N), Pierburg (7.28070.03.0), Delphi (EG10339-12B1), Lucas (FDR228), Fuel Parts (EGR166, ERV100), Quinton Hazell (XEGR73), and others including Metzger, MAPCO, Meat & Doria, Topran, and SMPE, among others.
