Product Number: EGR-035
The EGR-035 is an exhaust gas recirculation valve designed as a direct replacement for Ford Transit applications covering 2.5 DI and 2.5 TD diesel engines across the Bus, Van, and Platform Chassis body styles produced between 1994 and 2000. The EGR valve regulates the recirculation of exhaust gases back into the engine intake, a function critical to emissions control and stable engine management in service and commercial fleet environments.
The EGR-035 is engineered to restore correct exhaust gas recirculation function where the original valve has failed, seized, or become carbonised, returning the engine management system to its designed operating parameters. Cross-reference data confirms compatibility across a broad spread of Ford Transit engine and body code variants, making this a well-suited stock item for workshops servicing older Transit fleets.
Fitment covers eight Ford Transit applications across a single make, spanning the years 1994 to 2000. Compatible body styles include the Ford Transit Bus (E__) and Ford Transit Platform Chassis (E__) in 2.5 TD form from August 1994, the Ford Transit Bus (E__) in 2.5 DI from August 1997, and the Ford Transit Van (E__) in 2.5 DI from May 1999, all through to March 2000. Engine codes include EBL, ECL, EDL, EDS, ESL, ESS, EUS, EAL, EAS, EME, ENE and associated sub-variants - always verify the application against your vehicle identification data before fitment.
The EGR-035 carries OE cross-references including Ford 1 114 698, Ford 954F-9D475-DA, Ford 954F-9D475-DB, Ford 954F-9D475-DC, Fuel Parts EGR052, Hoffer 7518034, Lucas FDR192, Meat & Doria 88034, Pierburg 7.22064.62.0, and SMPE 14346, among others, enabling confident identification against original part numbers. This cross-reference list is a sample only; the full dataset includes 12 references.
