Product Number: CSS-088
The CCL CSS-088 is a crankshaft positioning sensor (CSS) designed as a direct-fit replacement for a broad range of Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, and Seat petrol-engined vehicles. With coverage spanning 181 vehicle applications across four manufacturers and a production year range of 1996 to 2006, this sensor is an established choice for independent workshops and trade buyers sourcing a reliable crankshaft position signal component.
The CSS-088 is engineered to restore accurate crankshaft position and rotational speed data to the engine management system - information that is essential for correct ignition timing and fuel injection control. As a CCL product, it is manufactured to a specification that meets the demands of professional workshop fitment, with a design intended to match the original sensor form, fit, and function across the supported vehicle range.
Vehicle coverage includes Audi A3 (8L1) variants fitted with 1.6 and 1.8 petrol engines including AEH, AKL, APF, AVU, BFQ, and AGN engine codes, among a wider population of Volkswagen, Skoda, and Seat models spanning 1996 to 2006. Trade buyers replacing sensors across the VAG petrol parc will find this sensor covers a substantial share of that population in a single product reference.
The CSS-088 cross-references to 26 OE and aftermarket part numbers, including Volkswagen 01M 927 321 B, Audi 01M 927 321 B, Skoda 01M 927 321 B, SEAT 01M 927 321 B, VAG 01M 927 321 B, Febi Bilstein 32872, Meyle 100 899 0039, Metzger 0909001, Vemo V10-72-0995, Meat & Doria 87289, Facet 9.0220, FAE 79062, Fuel Parts CS1257, Quinton Hazell XREV523, CI XREV523, SMPE 18895, SMPE EPS165, Hoffer 7517289, Topran 110673, Swag 30932872, Herth & Buss 70610000, S.I.D.A.T. 83.320, Automega 30927032101MB, and others - including further references not listed here.
