Product Number: CSS-039
The CCL CSS-039 is a crankshaft positioning sensor (CSS) designed as a direct replacement for diesel applications across a broad range of Fiat Group vehicles, including Alfa Romeo, Fiat, and Lancia models spanning the 1994 to 2010 model years. This sensor serves the engine management system by monitoring crankshaft position and rotational speed, providing the signals the ECU requires to control fuel injection timing and ignition events accurately.
With 96 confirmed vehicle applications across three makes - Alfa Romeo (26 applications), Fiat (48 applications), and Lancia (22 applications) - the CSS-039 offers wide-ranging coverage from a single part number. The broad fitment span makes it a practical stocking choice for workshops and factors servicing mixed Fiat Group fleets, particularly those handling 1.9 JTD and 1.9 TD diesel variants from the mid-1990s through to 2010.
Confirmed fitment includes Alfa Romeo 145 (930) 1.9 JTD AR32302 (1999-01/2001), Alfa Romeo 146 (930) 1.9 JTD AR32302 (1999-01/2001), Alfa Romeo 146 (930) 1.9 TD AR33601 (1994-02/1999), Alfa Romeo 146 (930) 1.9 TD AR67501 (1994-02/1999), and Alfa Romeo 147 (937) 1.9 JTD 182B9.000 (06/2003 onwards), among a further 91 applications. Always verify against the full fitment data for your specific vehicle make, model, and engine code before ordering.
The CSS-039 carries 57 OE and cross-reference numbers, including references from Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Bosch, Delphi, ERA, Hella, Fuel Parts, GM, Chevrolet, BBT, CI, FAE, and FACET, among others.
