The Lucas LSLA7-12 is a 12V 7Ah Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA) battery built specifically for powered wheelchairs, electric mobility scooters, stairlifts, hoists and alarm or UPS systems where dependable reserve power is essential.
Manufactured under the Lucas Supreme series by Lucas Automotive, the LSLA7-12 uses Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology in which the electrolyte is immobilised within a glass-fibre separator. This construction eliminates free acid, permits operation in any orientation and delivers a low self-discharge rate suited to infrequent-use standby duties. The sealed, recombinant design meets VRLA criteria and supports start-stop duty where the product label confirms compatibility.
The battery measures 151 mm (L) × 65 mm (W) × 98 mm (H including terminal) and weighs 1.93 kg. It is fitted with faston TAB terminals at polarity position 3, with a B00 hold-down classification.
