Constructed with rubber-to-metal bonding throughout, the flat-buffer format provides low-cost shock and vibration absorption and is straightforward to install. The softer 45 Shore A compound responds readily to lighter excitation forces, allowing the element to absorb and dissipate energy efficiently without transmitting shock impulses to surrounding structures or operators. Custom options including stainless steel metalwork and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubbers are available on request for demanding environments.
