The rubber-to-metal bonded construction combines a vulcanised natural rubber element with a steel insert, creating an elastic unit that absorbs and dissipates energy rather than transmitting shock or vibration to the surrounding structure. The female thread accepts an M4 fastener directly, simplifying installation on panels, chassis brackets or sub-frames without additional hardware. The 45 Shore A hardness grade sits at the compliant end of the range: softer rubber gives greater deflection and superior isolation performance at lower load levels, making it the appropriate selection wherever restraint must be sacrificed in favour of damping efficiency.
