The 45 Shore A rubber grade is the softest in this geometry, and that softness is precisely its working advantage: at lighter loads it yields more readily to incoming vibration, absorbing energy before it can transmit to the supporting structure or the equipment above. It is well suited to sensitive instruments, lightweight industrial machinery, and low-frequency isolation duties where compliance in the mount is more valuable than stiffness. Constructed with rubber-to-metal bonded technology, the mount may be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both, giving installation engineers flexibility in how the mount is orientated to suit the forces present.
