Product Number: HEX1383-45
The HEX1383-45 is a 21 x 19 mm hexagon bobbin mount in 45 Shore rubber, rated to 8 kg. It is a low-cost route to cutting vibration and shock on general-purpose industrial equipment.
The mount can be loaded in compression or shear or a combination of the two, and the hexagonal metals let the installer hold it with a spanner so the rubber is not twisted during fitting. This size carries hexagonal end metals so the mount can be held with a spanner during installation, avoiding twist in the rubber: M8 thread with a 20 mm stud, on a 21 mm diameter body 19 mm high. Maximum load is 8 kg at 1.2 mm deflection. Stainless steel metals and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubber compounds are available on request.
Alternative grades on this body: HEX1383-60 (16 kg). The footprint and fixings are identical across the family, so grades interchange without rework. Where per-point loads sit near the top of the rating, step up a grade rather than run at the limit.
