Carrying load at the upper end of the GM instrument and general mounting range, the GM18 is a 12.7 mm diameter rubber-to-metal bonded mount with M6 fixing, designed to provide vibration isolation for instruments, electronics and light equipment operating at higher load demands within this lightweight family. At 17 mm in height and 18 mm across the base flange, the GM18 suits installations where a compact footprint is required alongside meaningful load-carrying capability. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction allows the mount to be loaded in shear, compression or a combination of both, giving engineers flexibility when addressing vibration paths in equipment where isolation must be maintained without compromising structural stability. Softer grades within this family offer greater deflection and prioritise isolation at lower loads; the GM18 is positioned in the upper band of the range, carrying higher load with correspondingly reduced movement, making it appropriate where the equipment mass or operating forces demand more from a mount of this diameter.
