The pure-lead AGM construction is sealed, dry-cell and non-spillable, mounts on its side as well as upright, and resists vibration. Extreme-series units give engine-cranking pulses up to 2,700 amps for five seconds and handle around 400 cycles to 80% depth of discharge, while the Performance series is rated for an 8-to-12-year design life.
